ABOUT THE ALBUM:

Among the hundreds of works of Johann Sebastian Bach, there are many small works for keyboard instruments. As a big mistake of the music education systems in the 20th and 21st centuries, these beautiful miniatures are treated as if they were composed solely for piano education. It is sadly forgotten that this precious repertoire is also valuable for music lovers to listen to and include in their playlists. These works are usually heard through the performances by children who are only trying to learn how to play the piano, but very few master musicians deal with these masterpiece miniatures and record them. Emir Gamsız aims to bring out the philosophical beauty as well as the pure sonorities of these works, which are considered to be small in size and technically very easy for the keyboard. The Educational Works by Bach is designed as an album that will appeal not only to young people who are learning piano, but also to all music lovers.
